2018 was all about self-care for me.
During my quest to treat myself a bit more than I had been, I purchased several self-care products and services and had other ones gifted to me. Here’s a round-up of my ten favorites (plus a few honorable mentions) that I’ll continue to use in 2019 and beyond. Consider gifting these to yourself or a friend this holiday season.
After a successful solo trip to Disneyland this past summer, I have booked a five day stay at the Walt Disney World Resort at the end of February! I couldn’t be more thrilled to revisit my magical, happy place.
I’m particularly excited for this vacation because I have never done Disney World by myself. I’ve always been accompanied by family, friends, and romantic partners in the past. While it is certainly fun to experience the parks with a group, there’s something very special about doing Disney on your own. My last trip to Disneyland really showed me that. Solo travel, in general, can be super fulfilling, and it’s no different with theme parks and resorts.
It’s the last Friday in October and I’m basking in all the fall vibes as the weather starts to cool down in Wilmington.
October is here, and it’s really starting to feel like fall in New York! Time for sweaters, apple cider donuts, and scary movies!
Are you considering a move in the near or distant future?
I know first-hand how difficult that decision can be. I considered the pros and cons of relocating for months before I took any concrete steps. In a few short weeks, I’ll be moving to an apartment in Wilmington, North Carolina (pending on storm clean-up, of course) from NYC.
While there are certainly reasons to stay put, there are plenty of valid reasons to relocate. Of course moving is an expensive hassle, particularly if your new home will be in a new state or country, but the expense can be worth it if the change will benefit the wellbeing of you and your family.
